Project Delivery / Senior System Engineer (Full Time) Hybrid

You will have mastered being able to learn new technologies quickly. You will have seen most issues before and can quickly diagnose and resolve them. You will be an expert at using Google/Bing and researching problems. You will have enough understanding of how systems work to be able to resolve issues when there are no results returned. You will be able to automate any task you want. You will be able to design and implement new systems. You will be keeping on top of new technologies and testing them out. You will be able to recommend the correct solution for customers based on requirements and budget. You will be good at teaching others and helping them improve their skills
You will be the final point of escalation for any issue. You will split your time between issues and project work. You will be automating as much as possible and producing new policies and procedures working together with our pro-active and automation engineers. You will be carrying out proactive maintenance and making recommendations for account managers to take to customers. You will work together with our operations manager on day-to-day tasks and project delivery and attend weekly operation meetings. You will also get involved in SLT strategy level and play key role in defining the future of our business.

– Customer and Internal Projects
– Creating and fixing complex PowerShell Scripts
– Monitoring and resolving RMM alerts while suggesting new monitors and automations to resolve issues.
– Policy management
– Developing and implementing new technologies
– Escalated tickets from line 1 and 2
– Working with other staff to improve their skills
– Work with proactive and automation engineers (report to you)
